                                Calls for Entries

    THEME:    Artist's are encouraged to create work unrestricted by the definition of art.
       The emphasis should be on bringing in personal pecularities and ignoring art's
       familiar conventions, exploring in a personal and artistic sense the relationship
       between that which is acceptable and that which is not.

       MEDIA:   All Work suitable for outdoor installation for 6 - 12 months.

         FEES:    There are no fees to enter or be included in the exhibit.

       SIZE RESTRICTIONS:    There are no size restrictions.

       ACCEPTED WORK:    Accepted work will be based on slides showing the artist's
       ability to concieve  of and execute work. After an artist's work has been accepted, a
       substitution cannot be made without the curators consent.

       LIABILITY:    Neither the curators nor Manhattan Pyschiatric Center will be
       responsible for loss or damage to accepted work. The exhibition s sponsors will
       provide public liability coverage for the artist. The artist is responsible for the expense
       of shipping or transport, insurance coverage and removal of work.

       AGREEMENT:    Submitting an enrty to this show constitutes an agreement with all
       conditions of this show. The curators assume the right to photograph any accepted
       work for publicity or catalogue purposes.
 
       SALES:    Sales of work will be encouraged and there will be no commission
       requirement.

       ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:    Curating is done by slides and completion of a proposal
       booklet. Use the booklet to explain, through words, diagrams or both, what you plan
       to do. You may add larger pages or whatever, providing that the whole bundle
       functions as a book.
       Artists may submit up to 12 35mm color slides. Slides must be clearly marked with
       artists name, media, dimensions (hxlxw). For entry; mail slides/proposal booklet,
       resume and a SASE for return of slides to OUTDOOR SCULPTURE 1993, 518
       East Eleventh Street, Box 4A, New York, NY. 10009. Deadline for entry is
       March 15 th 1993. Materials without an SASE will not be returned.
