Petition-based applications are to be mailed in by Chronopost. Applicants should expect delays of approximately two weeks for issuance and return of their passports. It is hoped that this issuance delay can be contracted, because of the inconvenience to applicants of being without their passports.

All other applicants will telephone the call center (0810 26 46 26) to make an appointment. On the interview date they will queue up at the Mondovi window (formerly VISADIRECT) for document verification and then be redirected to the rue St. Florentin entrance and the main visa hall for actual interview.

NOTE: Applications currently sitting unopened in mailbags at NIV will be returned to the sender if they have not been examined by an officer before l August. Senders will then set up appointments as indicated above.
